Who We Are

Who We Are

Who We Are

Serving the Kingdom of God Since 1961

Ideal Park Christian Reformed Church traces its roots back to 1927, when nursing students from Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services began a Sunday school program for children in the Wyoming community at what is now Legacy Christian School. That small ministry grew over time, becoming an organized congregation in 1961. The church building where we gather today was constructed in 1963.

Situated in the heart of a residential neighborhood in Wyoming, Michigan, Ideal Park Church has remained committed to being both “a community church and a church community.” From our earliest days, we have sought to cultivate a faithful and lasting presence—supporting, serving, and walking alongside our neighbors with care and consistency.

We are affiliated with the Christian Reformed Church in North America (CRCNA). At our core, we are Christian, missional, and Reformed, seeking to faithfully follow Christ while loving and serving our community.
