What is GEMS?
GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting The Savior) is a Christ-centered discipleship ministry designed especially for girls.
For over 60 years, GEMS has partnered with local churches to help girls grow in faith, learn from Scripture, and

What happens at GEMS?
Each GEMS meeting typically includes:
Play games and enjoy time together
Create crafts and hands-on activities
Hear Bible stories and explore Scripture
Build friendships in a safe environment
Learn to follow Jesus in everyday life
Is GEMS right for my child?
GEMS is a good fit for girls who enjoy learning, building friendships, and growing in faith alongside others their age
whether they are new to church or have been part of a faith community for years.
Gathering includes age-appropriate activities, Bible teaching, and mentoring in a safe and encouraging environment,
led by caring, background-checked volunteers who love children and follow church safety policies.
Who can participate and when do you meet?
GEMS is open to girls in grades 2-8 and meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 6:30-8:15 PM at Ideal Park
Church.
How can I get involved or help?
There are several ways to get involved with GEMS:
Enroll your child in the program
Serve as a GEMS counselor or helper
Support the ministry behind the scenes
Training, curriculum, and ongoing support are provided for volunteers.
