Cadets at a Glance
What is Cadets?
Cadets is a Christ-centered boys’ ministry that meets regularly during the school year to help boys grow to be more
Christlike in all areas of life. Through Bible study, hands-on projects, and shared experiences, boys learn how following
Jesus shapes everyday life. For more info, CLICK HERE.
What happens at Cadets?
Each Cadets meeting typically includes:
Gathering together as a group
Small groups for Bible study and discussion
Working on badges and hands-on projects
Games, physical activity, and occasional outdoor adventures
Activities are designed to support boys’ spiritual, mental, physical, and social growth.
Is Cadets right for my child?
Cadets is a great fit for boys who enjoy learning by doing, being active, and growing alongside peers their age—whether
they are new to church or have been part of a faith community for years.
Meetings are structured and encouraging, led by caring, background-checked volunteers who love working with boys
and follow church safety policies.
Who can participate and when do you meet?
Cadets is open to boys in grades 2–8 and meets weekly or bi-weekly on weeknights during the school year at Ideal
Park Church.
How can I get involved or help?
There are several ways to get involved with Cadets:
Enroll your child in the program
Serve as a Cadets counselor or helper
Support the ministry behind the scenes
Training, curriculum, and ongoing support are provided for volunteers.
